This is a teaching Brent intended to give last year at our first deeper-life. The timing wasn't right. Given our present focus of teaching, he sensed God was saying that now was the time!

In this teaching, Brent looks at some of the key marks of the coming Messiah that the prophet Isaiah spoke of. He then looks at the ministry of Jesus and reveals how Jesus fulfilled Isaiah's words in his own life.

While walking looking at Isaiah and Jesus it becomes clear that the Messiah would be concerned about bringing salvation and justice in four key ways:

This is the second part of the teaching responding to the question - why did the king die? On the opening night of the DeeperLife I had too much material - so I opted to leave some for this podcast recording.

If the first teaching looked at the death of Jesus from a historical perspective, than this teaching looks at it from a spiritual perspective.

This teaching should also shed helpful light on what we are celebrating at communion - or, for those special occasions - a passover meal.

This Sunday we heard stories of how God is using our churches to advance the Kingdom both hear and around the world. It was really exciting!

At the conclusion of the gathering we welcomed Larry Eide of the C&MA denomination who blessed us and prayed for us.

While away on Summer Holidays, Jolie and Andy had some significant things occur that they wanted to share about. The hope of this is to encourage the churches about how God is using them across Canada, and also to encourage them about being missionaries in their own city.
