The past six years I've attended three church planting conferences all put on by the same Canadian group (Church Planting Canada). First time was in Vancouver, second was in Toronto (Trevor Johnston came along), third was in Ottawa (this time Jonathan Friesen joined).

Each time the conference has been excellent. Very simple. Very humble. Very Canadian. Very encouraging.

Since we are all planting churches, since we will be for the rest of our existence (that's the nature of what we are doing... Lord willing we just keep planting churches), since the conference is much closer to home this time - it'd be great if a whole bunch of us could go. We could load up a van, eat cheap, share rooms and make a great couple of days out of it.

Would you consider coming? It seems to me, anyone would be welcome. For now, here is all the info I have received.

BTW - Given that one of our values is "Mission to marginalized and Neighborhoods" and given what Mary-Lee spoke to us about this past retreat - it looks like the conference theme is perfect timing!
