You ever watch the "Hour" on CBC with George Strombopolous (I have know idea if I just spelt that last name correct)? I really am growing to like it. I don't know that he is a believer himself, but he clearly has big God questions and gives room for them to be discussed from many different angles. I like it. The other night I found this interview he had with Tony Campolo. I also like Tony. In the interview Tony discusses a lot of the "justice" stuff that the Lord has been speaking to us about. I don't know that I agree with all that he says... but most of it seems spot on to me. He's certainly trying to create a significant point about what Christ was calling his followers toward - something our world needs to hear and understand. So often the world is presented the idea that Christians are only the "religious right, homosexual hating, moralists". That is sad. Tony does a great job of presenting another angle. http://www.cbc.ca/thehour/video.php?id=1401 HUGE fan of 'The Hour'Submitted by Marianne on Fri, 2007-05-25 12:29.
From things George S has said I've picked up that he grew up with a Christian mother and is well schooled in the faith. He doesn't adhere to it all now but he does defend Christianity as a whole. (He also apologizes to his mother on air before he does interviews he knows she wouldn't approve of e.g. Hugh Hefner) |

the hour
I too saw this and recorded it... have recoreded over it since :P It was very good I thought.
I too appreciate the substance George deals with.
Good stuff
