Be encouraged

Good morning everyone,

I wanted to share my devotional with everyone, it really encouraged me this morning. I am going to quote it word for word. I also want to thank everyone who has been praying for me. The darkness has lifted. I have been doing devotionals every morning and it has been so easy to wake up lately.

Devotional
Diving Fearlessly: I cn do everything through him who gives me strenth. Philippians 4:13

Platform diver Laura Wilkinson was definitely the underdog in the 2000 Olympics in Sydney (OZ). After all, she was competing with a serious injury. She had broken three bones in her right foot three months earlier during a training accident while practicing the inward 2-1/2 somersault. Having surgery to set the bones would have knocked her out of the Olympics, so she postponed the surgery and let the bones heal in their jumbled position. The she continued her training, wearing a temporary boot to climb the sadder to the diving platform.
In Sydney, in the glare of the world's spotlights, she miraculously worked her way to the top of the standings. Then thre was just one more dive to go. And wouldn't you know? It was the inward 2-1/2 somersault.
There Laura stood, balancing precariously thrity-three feet above the water...balancing painfully on the ball of her foot--her broken foot. Her face froze in a mask of concentration. Her lips moved slightly. And then she spiraled through the air, twisting, folding, straightineing, knifing her lean form into the wter. And she won the gold!
When a reporter shoved a microphone into her face, Laura ignored whatever question he posed and simply blurted out the verse she had recited before every dice for years and years: Philippians 4:13. She said later that she'd prayed before going to Sydney that God would use her and in front of millions of viewers, God did exactly that.

I pray a blessing for everyone's day!

Being a Christian is a tough fight, day in and day out, yet so much rest on your inward composure before a "LIVING GOD", as an audience of ONE.

I wish to serve the KING, through my brokeness!
