Angels on the move

Howdy. Thought I would share my ponderings on the topic of angels. So last week Jolie gave me a sweet verse from Psalm 34

the angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear him,
and he delivers them.

As I was pondering about this I began to wonder: Hmmmm, am I assigned one specific angel? Is this guardian with me all the time? What does he/she/beyond gender do when I'm in my Jazz dancing class?
When I'm driving my V-W to work?
When I'm eating scrambled eggs?

My first thought was that, of course, probably my angel has many people to look out for and meets me at critical times or for special assignments. However, given the Father's lavish attention to his children, perhaps we do each have our own special guardian.
Also, the word "encamps" seems to portray the idea of living and journeying with us.

O.K. so what I really need here is one of you Biblical scholars to look up the Hebrew or Greek word that was translated to get the full flavor of the text. Please let me know! Gracious

Oh, for those of you who are going to comment on this blog, please do not think I am advocating angel-worship or irrelevant focus here, I'm just asking some questions. :) Kaile

i understand your 'hey i'm not worshipping angels' talk. me neither! i've read hebrews - I'm no where near worhsipping anything like that other then Jesus. AND I think its important to let Scripture be our guide about the spiritual realm - we can see and sense into that place. we should have some udnerstanding of these things.

i like knowing that there is

i like knowing that there is that whole other spiritual realm where we don't even see half of what is going on! I wonder if when we get to heaven we can ask God to see where in our lives we were protected by angels. Wouldn't that be a cool thing to find out? haha! i love it! the possiblities.
