so, a couple days ago I asked God if he had any pictures or visions for simple churches. I soon after had two pictures come to mind. The first one was of a group of God's warriors walking with determination with a dark, grey sky overhead. But they were bathed in God's light and as they walked plants were growing all around them which were, in turn, transformed into more warriors. The second image I had, was a picture of a group of warriors being led by God at the front line who held the hands of those up front. Jesus then lifted them up out of the dark earth and into a realm of bright light which then covered all of them. When Jesus brought them back down to earth, he could no longer be seen, but they all marched bathed in light with peace and no fear.
God is our comforter. No matter how much we doubt or feel turmoil, he is constantly reminding us of his prescence and goodness and faithfulness. As i've been struggling with doubt lately, today God kept saying, "you are safe in me." Let us keep running the race friends! He is faithful and true.
