After hemming and hawing over whether to go to the retreat this year I have to say that now that I have decided to go I have a great sense of anticipation (I think that it is more than just looking forward to a welcome distraction....Henry will have been in Australia for thre and a half weeks at that point!) for the weekend.

Andy thanks for the details pertaining to the retreat. I feel at rest just reading through the focus of the weekend.

I am also looking forward to spending time together as a group of people who have been putting their trust in God's leading. Andy was mentioning in the "oil" blog that he feels God is pleased with the walk that our simple churches have been walking. I agree. I picture him looking at us and saying "Those are my people...they desire to spend time with me and with eachother. Take a moment and look at how I am intriniscally woven into each of your simple churches."
