For those of you that read this blog entry before the City Wide tommorow, I thought it would be a good idea to ask people to bring a plastic plate and/or cup for themselves. We will have a stack of paper plates and cups for people that forget or are not interested, but it seems like something simple that we can do that involves minimal effort. This way we don't end up with a huge pile of garbage or a huge pile of dishes to wash at NSA. So join in the fun and bring something for yourself to eat off of.

Andy and Jolie thanks for your honesty this past sunday. It is in moments like these that I see our community growing in depth and maturity. I only hope that we continue to grow in prayer and intercession for one another.

Continuing on my honesty theme...I really want to encourage everyone to come out to the last night of the confrence (Wednesday @ 7:30). God is taking us on a journey that is bringing us back to the heart of what he is about. Don't miss out, come and join in on the fun if you can!! As I was driving home today I started to think about the water warnings about boiling our water. The more I thought about it I started to wonder if it had any connection to the vision that came out of prayer last year of God tampering with the water systems. It might be a random connection, but maybe something to think and pray about. Especially because I have heard on the news that North Van is supposed to be the worst. Any thoughts kids???

I have some random thoughts that I am want to post. They are not going to be eloquent in any way shape or form because my brain is fried from studying. Anyway here goes it...ever since the retreat I have been wondering if the central lonsdale house church needs to become a few churches, meaning break into a few. I do not know if this is just me being impatient or if this is God giving me this sense. Generally I am not someone who loves change...so this could be Gods way of preparing me. I just feel like we should not get to comfortable. If we truly want to live out the values that God has imparted to us then I really believe that it needs to happen within a small community. I know that this is what our house church is working towards but I am wondering if it could be sooner rather than later. Maybe we could begin to think and pray about this with each other as well as other simple churches members living in north van who are not apart of a house church yet. Would love to here others thoughts!! Thanks!!

Hey all,
Just had a grand old time in the prayer time!! Im learning that I don't have to DO anything while I am in there except just hang out with Jesus..which really is quite restful. I really feel like we need to take advantage of this prayer room and go hard these next few weeks leading up to the retreat....not to accomplish anything but just to pursue the Holy Spirit with all we've got. I have had 3 group sessions and they have been great...I think these might be even more helpful in these next weeks, as it promotes unity and creates a great place for intercession to happen.
On another note, I am looking for some peeps to pray for my parents and sister. Tommorow (Friday) at noon my parents are going to be at a court case in the US. Its a little bit of a long story but my moms brothers are suing my parents...and its all quite messy and emotional. So any prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!
