Hey all,
Just had a grand old time in the prayer time!! Im learning that I don't have to DO anything while I am in there except just hang out with Jesus..which really is quite restful. I really feel like we need to take advantage of this prayer room and go hard these next few weeks leading up to the retreat....not to accomplish anything but just to pursue the Holy Spirit with all we've got. I have had 3 group sessions and they have been great...I think these might be even more helpful in these next weeks, as it promotes unity and creates a great place for intercession to happen.
On another note, I am looking for some peeps to pray for my parents and sister. Tommorow (Friday) at noon my parents are going to be at a court case in the US. Its a little bit of a long story but my moms brothers are suing my parents...and its all quite messy and emotional. So any prayers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!!

PS- that was my first blog entry...pretty fun!! Oh I know one more thing if anyone has or knows anyone with a free or cheap bed...I am in need of one ASAP...a queen is preferable because of my sheets..but i will take anything!! THANKS!!!!

Lola,
We'll be praying like crazy. I know that God has an amazing plan for your parents and this whole overwhelming situation. I just want us to pray for peace before the trial and after as they lean on God's strength. Let's also remember to pray for your mom's family and ask that God would enter into their hearts.

ya...my prayer sessions have been like that too...its all about hanging out with jesus and persuing the Holy Spirit...if thats happening, everything else will play out from there...no need to strive...it IS restful...praise the Lord! I want to do more group prayer too...or hang out with Jesus as a group is another way of putting that...so ppl...come join! praying for you and your family...God bless!
