hi friends!!

Naomi, Luke and I were bummed about missing the city wide celebration but when we got back from Seattle, we were somewhat happy to here that we hadn't missed the opporutnity to part with our Vancouver friends!! We were stuck in a Snow Blizzard on the way back from Seattle...the trip took us 7 hours instead of 3, but God be praised, we got home safe and sound.

Some of you know that I was running the Seattle marathon today and I wanted to let you know that I survived. Fortuntaely it wasn't snowing, but it was pouring rain and about 2 degrees...by the time I got to the finish line my muscles were seizing because I was frozen to the bone. Towards the end of the race, I found myseolf asking the age old marathon question..."Why am I doing this again?" Anyway I finished in 3:33 and am alive to tell about.

I hope you all had a good weekend, the three of us are looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Grace to you, and Peace,

The Peters

Great Job Mark

What a great time and even more, great job braving the elements. Hope you get some rest and relaxation this week. And maybe even a massage.

See you Sunday.

Megan

P.S. I don't think I could have finished in those conditions. My running partner and I thought of you all in Seattle yesterday morning as we ran in the slushy snow. We were trying to debate what was worse cold rain or snow and never could really come to an answer as they both seem torturous.
