Hey Simple Churches,

I just wanted to encourage us all to sign up for the prayer room ! There's somethin' sweet about fillin' up those spaces with all our different names to accomplish 24/7.

I signed up today for the 4-6 pm slot and had planned to go running and focus on prayer while running. I wanted to share what God spoke to me and what I shared with Him.

I have been training for a 1/2 Marathon, so my plan was to run Burnaby Lake 10.6 km and with stretching before and after that made it the full 2 hrs... It was awesome.

I started off listening to my Ipod... as it's my saving grace to distract me while I'm running... But I felt Jesus say... turn it off, you can't hear me. So I did.

As I pondered and prayed, I felt the theme of encouragement kept coming to me... So I prayed, specifically with Andy on my heart... that he would be encouraged today and know that he is a big part of a good thing (Simple Churches). I prayed for Him, Jolie, Chanida and Sam... special blessings :) As I did this... while running... My thoughts kept flowing and one by one, individuals came to my mind... Brent and Laura, Nicole and Stephan, Jess and Neto, Trevor and Erin, Ben and Allison, Jason and Sarah ... specifically the newly weds and those with up and coming families. I prayed for Megan and Jonathan as they head to Lynn Valley and the rest of our little home churches. I prayed for Mark and Naomi and Luke as they deal with the celebration of the life of a family friend and grieving of his loss.

All these things and more and before you know it... I was back at the parking lot done my run!

I sensed that God isn't so concerned with our #s right now... He is doing a work in each one of us. I prayed that we would all desire to grow more in love with Him, to desire him MORE. As we each 'morph' into His likeness... KNOW his voice, KNOW what/where he'd have us... His will we WILL see unfold.

So Glad to be part of this... Keep on keeping on friends... Let's Host Jesus!
