Position Responsibilities
Perform all activities related to the referral and processing of Home Essentials Kits:
· process and update the status of the kit referral forms
· arrange the kit packing and delivery schedules
· follow up and liaison with partner agencies
Other duties not related to Home Essentials Kits:
· encourage, support, and instruct volunteers
· respond to phone messages & e-mails
· organize warehouse stock
· deliveries / pick ups
· other duties as needed
Required Skills and Abilities
· minimum two years experience in a non-profit organization
· ability to work alongside and encourage those with barriers to employment
· ability to learn quickly, organize, work independently, and take initiative
· excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
· knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
· 10 years safe driving & comfort level with driving a half ton van
· criminal record check will be required as part of this position
