the american prosperity gospel is not new

after the resurrection, JESUS takes a walk with 2 disciples who do not recognize HIM.
these 2 have no concept that JESUS would be the passover lamb, so that the Angel of Death, would not touch them. They had heard from others that the tomb was empty, but it had not meaning for them.

Q: Ought not the CHRIST to have suffered these things and to enter HIS GLORY? Lk 24: 26

so beginning at Moses, and all the prophets, JESUS expounded to them all the scriptures the things concerning HIMSELF. ( notice: the profit of Bible study....it's about JESUS! )

at the blessing of the bread, (the table grace), they recognized HIM, but HE vanished!!!!!!

V32: Did our hearts not burn within us, while HE talked with us on the road, and while HE opened the scripture to us?

Does your heart burn...when you open the scriptures?
