JESUS begins to inject a commandment, which will become the by*word of the Christian Community.
"a new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, as I have loved you, that you may also love one another, BY THIS ALL WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE MY DISCIPLES!

Q: IF... you have love for one another

on one hand betrayal of trust, and on the other the washing of feet.

1Jn 1: 7 If we walk in the LIGHT, as HE is in the LIGHT, we have fellowship with one another.
1Jn 2: 9 He who says he is in the LIGHT, and hates his brother, is in darkness. He who loves his brother abides in the LIGHT

1Jn 3:16 By this we know LOVE, because JESUS laid down HIs LIFE for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brethren.
1Jn 4: 4 You are of GOD, little children, and have overcome, because HE who is in you, is greater than he who is in the world.
1Jn 2; 15 Do not love the world, or the things of the world. IF anyone loves the world, the love of the FATHER is not in him.
