As most of you know, I applied to volunteer with International China Concern (ICC) for 6 months back in November and now the time has nearly arrived for me to fly over to China to begin my adventure! I leave this Saturday and will be returning home in October.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your encouragement and support. It is so nice to know that I have an awesome God and family of believers behind me. Your prayers are a huge source of support so if you could continue to pray for me while I am away that would be really appreciated.

For those of you wondering how to support me financially you can do so either by mailing in a cheque or online via credit card. Here are the details:

Mailing in a cheque:

1. mail a cheque payable to International China Concern (or just ICC) to their office here in Vancouver at 698 East 64th Ave, Vancouver, BC, V5X 2N2

2. include a note (even on a little sticky note is fine) requesting that the money be designated to me

3. you will be issued a tax receipt in the beginning of 2009

Online via credit card:

1. go to ICC's website www.chinaconcern.org and click on "donate" at the top of the page

2. follow the links and provide the requested information

3. in the comments section at the bottom of the page put a note requesting that the money be designated to me

4. you will immediately receive a tax receipt

God, pray and church would become something like G, pr.y, home club). I am also going to try to set up a blog site so I will e-mail the link for that once it has been set up.
