Walk on the Wall - The Sea Wall! | September 25th

While Derek and Trevor are walking the Great Wall in China, the rest of us get the privilege of walking the Sea Wall in Vancouver. Also a pretty incredible place to be.

Why not come join us?

So far there are 13 people signed up for our team and we have raised $7403! Still, as great as that is, it would be great if a few more could join in. There are two ways you can do this:

Two Ways to Participate:

1. Register your name and collect your own pledges - then show up with the team on the 25th to walk.

2. Just pledge one of the existing team members (and join in on the walking fun if you can).

Details for the Walk

Here are the details we've been given by ICC. Parents, please note that there is a shorter walk arranged for families if you so desire:

We start at the Lumbermen’s Arch picnic area. Registration begins at 9:00AM and the walk will start at 10:00AM. Come early and join us for a muffin and Starbucks coffee breakfast. Hear live music, be inspired by the story of Andrea Holmes – a Paralympic Athlete – that travelled to China to see first hand the lives of our children. Walk 10K along the Stanley Park seawall and arrive back for Chinese lunch together. We also have some professional Walk the Wall T-shirts this year for a suggested donation of $4/shirt.

Young families will also love our Vancouver event this year. Our family walk is a simple 3K route that the even the youngest will enjoy before heading back to have lunch and enjoying the silly antics of the Walk the Wall clowns.

How do I pledge an existing team member or sign up to the team myself?

That's easy! First of all, go to our team page by Clicking here.

Second, if you would like to pledge a team member, click one of the team member names on the right hand bar and follow the directions from there.

Third, if you would like to join the team, click the "join simple churches" link on the bottom of the right hand bar and follow the directions.
