What is Happening?

We're having a church-wide yard sale to support the Ukraine's Orphans and Widows. It's going to be our first fundraiser!

Anything else? Yes!

• We're serving breakfast from 9-11. Hot coffee, Egg McMuffins...
• We're serving lunch from 11-1. Hot dogs, drinks...
• We're selling baked goods.
• We'll also be collecting tax receipt-able donations from any so inclined.

How can you help?

• When it is talked about in your church over the next couple of weeks, step up and sign up for some of the jobs. It's going to be fun! Participation is one of our values... many hands!
• Collect your stuff and drop it off on the Saturday morning - 8:00 A.M. at the latest - so we have time to lay it all out. If we don't have stuff to sell, it'll be a pretty lousy Yard Sale.
• Ask your friends and family members if they have anything they would like to donate. Give them the details for where they can drop it off.
• Send out the attached flyer! Tell everyone you know to drop by... even if they are not interested in a yard sale, they can still come for breakfast or lunch.
• Be excited. Join in. Make it a priority for that Saturday morning.

What else?

The book of James tells us that "pure religion" is taking care of widows and orphans... so we're taking him at his word. This month we've cancelled our normal CityWide and we're making the Yard Sale our "church". So, even if you can't sign up for an official role, be sure to drop by and loiter! Stay for breakfast, stay for lunch! Bring your families. Hang around. And as you do quietly pray for the city, pray for the Ukraine. Smile lots and have fun. It's church.
