2011 Final Financial Numbers

Thank you again for your faithful giving in 2011! We finished the year having paid all our general fund bills, with $5000 in surplus. On the missions side, we ended up giving away around $24,000! Wow. Let's keep finding ways to be even more generous in the year ahead.

What's Your Plan?

February 2012 Thoughts

Every good idea requires a good plan; this is just plain common sense. If you decide you want to take a vacation with friends or family (a good idea), it requires some type of plan to ensure it happens. Someone has to save the money, book the rooms, make the transportation arrangements. You don’t plan, you don’t go. If you decide you want to surprise your friend with an unexpected birthday party (another good idea - potentially) again the idea requires a plan or it’s not going to happen. And if you decide you’re going to propose to the girl you just met but are absolutely sure is “the one”... wait a second, that’s not a good idea, but you get the idea.
