Pot O' Soup Lunch this Sunday... Hi guys... this Sunday is our first "City-Wide" celebration and along with it our first Pot O' Soup meal. Now, the Vancouver church has graciously offered to bring the dessert and that means that the two North Vancouver chruches will have to supply the soup stuff. So, here is what we need. We need 8 of you to offer to bring a good sized pot of soup (enough to feed say 8 people) and in order to keep it warm it would be good if you could bring it in a crock pot. Then, we need a bunch more of you to bring some good quality breads and cheeses. We'll put it all together and dinner will be served. How do you register? Reply to this forum and indicate what you are bringing. Once we get to 8-10 people bringing soups - we'll be good to go. Just breads and cheeses after that. Thanks all... nice to participate with you in a key mark of the church - hospitality.

I got a few e-mails at home so we are over the 8 pot threshold. We could still handle a few more so bring them along. Also, we could still handle some more bread and cheese. That'd be real nice. I will bring borscht. I had to google search the spelling of that one. What kind of ukranian am I ???? I will also bring a dessert - some chocolate square things- since I am coming from the Vancouver church. That is five soups. Andy - don't cancel man! Our God is mighty and this is easy for him!!
