Your Face Lord, I Will Seek
Jesus made it clear. The first mark of a disciple was that they were a person who loved God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. This is what David has in mind when he sings, “my heart says of you... seek his face! Your face Lord, I will seek.”
There are many other things that could capture our minds and hearts. Many other things we could seek after. But the invitation of God is that we would seek him. His promise is that in this we will find food, and riches, the narrow way and a firm foundation.
That’s what this weekend will be about.
