John 20:19-23 | Pentecost Sunday and the Breath of GodThey Devoted Themselves On the evening of the resurrection, Jesus appears to his disciples. They are a terrified lot, but he blesses them with his peace - "peace be with you." And then the most interesting thing happens - he breathes on them. In this Pentecost Sunday teaching, Andy tries to make sense of this beautiful event as we join those early disciples being sent into the world.

Ukraine Trip ReportRuth's Follow Up Reflections As you will likely all know, Ruth Toews recently travelled to Ukraine. She went there under the leadership of our partner organization, "Hungry for Life," and she joined a team of folks from the Fraser Valley. Ruth has been travelling and serving in Ukraine since 2007, when our simplechurches began to support the local church's work there. Attached is Ruth's follow-up report of her time there this past month. Her visit this time was very different than in the past. The reflections she offers share the gravity of the situation but also the spirit of the people and the mercy of God amidst horrible evils. For more infomation visit:

Did You Know? We're Developing a Regional Network That's right! In 2022 the River Church - started by Darcy and Kenda Reimer and a team of faithful partners - joined simplechurches. We're now praying for a new regional network of house churches throughout the Sea to Sky. Like our main simplechurches network serves the Metro Vancouver area, our hope is that this might become a regional network for that area. For more infomation visit:
