In arguably Jesus’ most renowned parable, we find the tale of the prodigal son. It’s a story about a young boy who abandons his father’s home in pursuit of worldly desires. However, upon realizing his mistake and choosing to return home, he experiences an unexpected and grace-filled welcome.

As Pastor Brian aptly describes, the story of the prodigal son serves as a “gospel within a gospel.” It encapsulates a profound message of good news within the grand narrative of God’s love and salvation. Amidst the pervasive backdrop of negative news, it’s crucial to remember that in God’s embrace, the news of goodness is boundless and everlasting.

Our traditional "Sunrise Service" on the beach in Vancouver. What a great morning together! We're doing it again. Resurrection songs. Resurrection scriptures. Friends of the King gathered together.

As with every year, plan for SUN (but pack an umbrella and warm clothes... just in case something unexpected and unusual develops)!
