In his final letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul writes from a Roman prison, knowing his death is near. Yet, instead of despair, Paul sees his life as a drink offering—poured out in joy and faithfulness to God.

Through this passage, we’re invited to stop avoiding the subject of death and instead view it as Paul did—an act of worship and a doorway into God’s forever kingdom.

Special Guests: The Reimers!

This year, we have invited Darcy and Kenda Reimer to lead us in our main sessions.  The Reimers were pastors of the River Church in Squamish for many years and now live in Victoria, where Kenda serves as a Spiritual Director and Darcy works for Union Gospel Mission.  They have four adult children. 

At the end of August, we invited Kenda and Darcy to lead the church leadership on a day retreat, and we had a wonderful time with them.  It was so wonderful that we felt their time with the church wasn't quite over, so we've invited them back to minister to us at the retreat.
