The Ignatian Spiritual ExcercisesAs in past years, Claudia Weiland from our Squamish church is leading a guided prayer journey, inviting people from our churches to join her. As in previous years, she utilizes the "Spiritual Exercises" developed by Ignatius of Loyola. Claudia writes: Do you desire to more fully experience the depths of God’s love for you? Are you eager for a deeper dive into God’s Word, not just knowing more about Jesus, but personally encountering Him in His Word? Introducing Clara!We have good news! Something to get you excited over the summer month slowdown. God has brought to us a wonderful new teacher for our coming season of They Devoted Themselves. Clara Bastidas, has agreed to join our team - and we're all blessed because of it! A native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, Clara now lives in Calgary with her husband, Jose, and her son (who we'll keep nameless, here). Along with working with her husband as together they plant a house church in Calgary (while he also ministers to international students), Clara also has an online teaching ministry and recently published her first book.
