We've taken our annual summer pause, to work through past teachings from the Gospel of Luke. This weekend, we come to our final teaching before a new video series begins.

Join us Next Weekend In Porteau Cove

For our first CityWide after our summer break, we're meeting outside for a Baptism Service.

Do you want to get baptized? It's not too late!

Reach out to Andy at info@simplechurches.ca.  or just reply to this newsletter.

As in past years, Claudia Weiland from our Squamish church is leading a guided prayer journey, inviting people from our churches to join her.  As in previous years, she utilizes the "Spiritual Exercises" developed by Ignatius of Loyola.   ‭

God has brought to us a wonderful new teacher for our coming season of They Devoted Themselves. Clara Bastidas, has agreed to join our team - and we're all blessed because of it!  A native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, Clara now lives in Calgary with her husband, Jose, and  her son (who we'll keep nameless, here).

Along with working with her husband as together they plant a house church in Calgary (while he also ministers to international students), Clara also has an online teaching ministry and recently published her first book.

Clara's first teaching with us is scheduled for October 11th.
