In the early morning of August 6th 1945, as an eight-year-old girl played in the schoolyard with her classmates. Suddenly there was a flash of light followed by a tremendous blast. In an instant, her life had changed forever.
Today, that little girl, Sachi Rummel, is a member of our Central Lonsdale Simple Church and we have invited her to share her story with us.
Introducing, Sachi Rummel
In recent years, Sachi has felt an increasing burden to share her story both as a warning against the evils of nuclear war and also as a chance to give thanks to Jesus. Along with publishing her memoir, "Hiroshima - Memories of a Survivor," she has also prepared a presentation to give to churches and community groups. With the help of her husband Charles, she will be sharing this story with us.
