Children Support Needed

Hi Parents, Teens, Friends of Children!

To comply with insurance policy requirements (and for good safety and risk practices!), we need to strengthen our network-wide and home-based childcare practices.  In the coming weeks, more information will follow (and, not to worry, these are just simple adjustments), but this post covers one need for our network-wide events.

Approved Volunteers Needed

For our network-wide events where children are cared for apart from their parents (think CityWide and Retreat) we are in need of a handful of volunteers who have completed an application and criminal record check.   Chanida will still provide primary care for most events, but on weeks when the number of children exceeds the allowed leader-to-child ratio, or if she's unable to, we need qualified people who can provide back-up support.

Ideally, we'd like to have 4-5 qualified people ready to help as needed. 

If you are willing, please fill out the application below and send it back to Andy (email address is in the application). He'll then get you a Criminal Record letter that you can take to the RCMP for a free check.
