Welcome to our Annual Church Retreat!

A highlight of our church family since 2006.  If you've never before come - plan on coming this year. Good friends, good food, Jesus. What else do you need?

And a huge, special welcome to those new to our church or those who have never attended before.  It is an instant way to dive into the deep end of our broader simplechurch family.

Schedule and Details

Retreat details and camp schedule can be downloaded below.

Special Guests - Stephen and Lisa Toon

This year, we have invited Stephen and Lisa Toon to lead us in worship.  Steve and Lisa are musical creatives and worship leaders who currently call Oliver, B.C., home. Long-time friends of the Lambkin's, they bring a wonderful combination of incredible talent and hearts of gold.

Some of you may remember that during the Pandemic, we hosted a series of "Making Lemonade" events. Stephen and Lisa were our guests for one of the evenings - they led us in worship via Zoom.  Here's a link to a recording of that event so you can hear the Toon's yourself.

Retreat Costs & Payment

We really want to encourage attendance this year, so the church council has made a decision to discount this year's registration fees significantly! Whoop, whoop!  Registration closes November 3rd!

Adults - $100/adult

Teenagers - $75/teen

Children age 4-12 - $40/child

Under 4? Free

The retreat is “family style, " meaning we keep family units together in the same rooms.  However, there are two types of lodging that the camp provides.

  1. Cottages have an upstairs and downstairs with a shared bath and kitchenette.  We put two families in these (one upstairs and one downstairs).
  2. Lodge - the lodges are larger and have 6 individual rooms (5 beds/room) with a shared lounge and washroom area.

Click this link for a tour of the rooms to learn more.

We will let you know a few days before the camp your lodge assignment.

What Can You Expect?

Our retreat is always a low-key time. We don't over plan, so there is lots of time to rest and enjoy each other's company. This is the key point... build friendships and community.
