Parables are stories intended to point to a deeper idea. They are Jesus’ most frequently used teaching formula because, in their brevity, they can reveal profound ideas. In today’s teaching, Abigail leads us through two parables Jesus tells about seeds. Seeds are little things, usually unseen or unnoticed, that are also busy at work, becoming things that the whole world depends on.
And such is the kingdom of God.
